Practitioner Standards
Success of our events depends largely on the quality of the experience
that attendees have, particularly with the psychic readers, spiritual
counselors, and healers. As much as possible, we want attendees to leave
healthy, happy & hopeful. A satisfied client will spread the word
about their positive experience, & return the next time with friends.
Therefore we have high standards for our exhibitors. Practitioners who
are new to our events must demonstrate their abilities & experience
either before or on the day of their first event. Counselors and readers
can do a short sample session over the telephone or at one of the events.
Contact Debra at 813-486-0240 or achievinglife@gmail.com to arrange a
time for that. Healers can provide a short demonstration of their work
on the day of their first event.
Expo Presenters & Workshops
We offer a separate room or area for free half-hour presentations,
performances, lectures, etc. The presentation room may be reserved for
a half-hour at no charge on a first-come first-served basis by exhibitors
who have completed the registration process & paid their booth fees
in-full.
Non-exhibitors may rent the presentation rooms for $25 per half-hour.
If you are interested, please fill out the Presentation section on the
exhibitor application, & indicate a range of preferred times.
Presentations begin at 10am (11 on Sunday) after the Opening Event, &
run throughout the day every half hour to hour until 6:30 pm.
These presentation times fill up fast, especially those in the middle
of the day, so register early if you want an optimum time for your presentation.
Some times are reserved initially for larger and longer presentations
By special arrangement, we co-sponsor longer presentations or workshops
in which attendees are charged a fee, which is split 50/50 between the
Presenter & AchievingLife.. We will need at least 1 month to plan
the promotion of such an event on the website, in postcards & newspaper
ads, & in the program guide.
AchievingLife Expo Collective & Network
We are working to create a network of people and organizations
based in Florida and geared towards the Southeast. This group is for those

the overall network and how to become a part e-mail achievinglife@gmail.com

to create committed networking teams to work at the expos, particularly
companies in the health & wellness field. We offer discounted booths
to help build networking organizations that financially support the collective
and the expo itself.
We are looking for a few team leaders who want to be positioned at the
top of the regional networks for booth space and prime links on www.AchievingLife.com.
We aim for teams that have the highest potential for rapid expansion..

TEN SECRETS TO SUCCESSFUL EXHIBITING
As Found At: http://www.holisticlivingexpo.com/exhibitor_info.php
Sacred Productions Holistic Living Expos of California
1. Create an attractive booth, with a large professional sign displayed
at eye level. A client or customer needs to know who you are, what you’re
offering, and why they need it. Make it clear to them what your specialties
are. For optimum booth location, pick your space in advance from the floor
plans we send you, & email us your choices.
2. Actively market yourself before, during, & after the event. For
example:
- Collect addresses & emails at each event. We give you unlimited
numbers of free passes to send them next time.
- Give a free presentation, or give away something useful to attendees.
Let us know so we can include it in our ads.
- Place ads in the program guide, or arrange to have your biography
or banner on the website.
- Help to arrange or participate in interviews on radio or television
prior to the event.
3. Dress in the spirit of the event. We recommend dressing in a manner
appropriate to your field of expertise, tradition, ethnicity, or in some
other authentic or colorful way that will make you stand out, or attract
attention to yourself. If you would like help designing or making a special
outfit, we can recommend someone to help you.
4. Show up consistently & on time for events that you are registered
for. It is easier to change your mind about booth location if you are
there early during set-up. Give yourself time after set-up to get grounded,
clear, & focused. If you are not going to make it due to illness,
car trouble, etc, call with plenty of notice. [If you can’t arrive
by show start call us or we will assume you are not coming, & your
space may be given to someone on the waiting list.(edited from site)]
5. Know what you want to accomplish. It’s a good idea to have one
major objective that supports your overall goals. A massage therapist
might have a goal of doing 10-15 sessions at the show & establishing
3-5 new regular clients for private sessions at their office. An MLM booth
might plan to get 100 leads & turn 25% of them into sales. A goal
helps to energize you & focus your activities before, during, &
after the show.
6. Be a good neighbor. You are in close quarters with many people whose
prerequisites for doing their work, & whose environmental allergies
or emotional sensitivities may conflict with your activities.
- Don’t burn sage or incense inside the exhibit hall. Many people
can’t handle it. This is a conflict waiting to happen.
- If you play music at your booth, keep the volume at a level that works
for your neighbors as well. If in doubt, ask.
- If you want a TV in your booth, ask us when you register. We’ll
need to locate your booth away from practitioners.
- Be peaceful. Don’t antagonize other exhibitors, zap them with
negative energy, or start fights. If you have a legitimate issue that
needs mediation, ask the event staff for help. We have years of experience
in problem-resolution.
7. Optimize your Attitude. Take some time after your set-up is complete
to lift your spirits in whatever way works for you. It is a well-known
principle of sales that when you are promoting a product or service, what
you are actually selling is your own state of consciousness. If a cloud
of negativity hangs over your booth, customers will avoid you like the
plague. A psychic reader or healer who is depressed or lethargic is likely
to bring their client down to their level. On the other hand, inspiration,
enthusiasm & positive thinking are contagious. If you are feeling
ecstatic, you are magnetically attracting others to you who would like
their own vibration raised to a higher level.
8. Respect boundaries. During set-up, utilize no more than the width
of the space you registered for. In general, the floor plan is designed
according to the exact dimensions of the room. If you set up an 8' x 8'
display in a 6' x 8' space, you may be forcing your neighbor to confine
themselves to a 4' x 8' space. Stay within your own booth area when marketing
your product or service. Don’t approach or distract fairgoers who
are at another booth & may be on the verge of buying something or
getting a reading. Most exhibitors consider it disrespectful to wander
the hall passing out literature & prefer that you don’t do it
in front of their booth. Use the literature table near the entrance to
the hall to place your flyers, business cards, etc.
9. Be available at your booth during public hours. Excessive talking
on cell phones, socializing, & leaving your booth makes it difficult
for you to connect with potential clients. Unless you’re wearing
name tags, 2 people in a practitioner booth sends the message that you’re
not available. Don’t leave early unless it’s an emergency,
& never without making arrangements with the staff. When exhibitors
start tearing down their booths, the public perceives that the event is
over, and they start leaving as well.
10. Evaluate your results. Continuously evaluate & work on improving
your skills, your attitude, your visual presentation, & the marketing
of your booth. If you notice others being more successful than you, pay
attention to what they are doing that you aren’t. If you want outside
feedback, ask your neighbors or the event staff for suggestions.
