Integrated Practitioner Information

Emphasis is placed on creating a Holistic Healing environment. It is my belief that when we work on the mind, body, and spirit together and with complimenting modalities the greatest and more longer lasting benefits will occur. As such, every client is encouraged to communicate with other health practitioners regarding any healing care they receive.

Every therapy and modality will have its benefits that can help or hinder the work of other therapies, by being mindful and informing your practitioners of each other you increase the positive results, become more knowledgeable, and may be able to increase the understanding of various practitioners.

In this sense it is also important to always speak with your health care providers about your questions, concerns, comments, and what your needs are. Especially with massage remember to communicate pain, sensitive, and comfort levels as well as what areas need more or less focus.

Remember while I am a licensed massage therapist, have a masters degree in Religious Studies, have studied various relationships of Medicine and Spirituality, and have over 15 years experience with massage and related healing modalities I am not a medical doctor. I do not diagnose nor can I claim that any of this work will cure a particular ailment.

There are of course times when massage should not be performed. If you are under the care of a physician for a medical condition it is always wise to check with the doctor or allow us to contact the doctor so that we may offer the appropriate form of therapy. For more information about when massage is not recommended contact us.
